Some of Jeanne's favorite recipes: (since she is no longer with us, I cannot ask her about discrepancies I find in these, so if you find any, please let me know.) - - - - - - - - Jeanne's Cheesecake [this is REALLY good!] Crust 4 oz Zweiback (a Gerber baby cracker) 1 c sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 c sweet butter melted Preheat oven to 375 degrees Roll Zwieback fine, mix with sugar, cinnamon & butter Set aside 3/4 c of mixture for topping Butter springform pan 10" Press mixture to bottom & sides Cheesecake 4 eggs 1 tbles lemon juice 1 c sugar 4 8-oz [Philadelphia?] cream cheese soften Beat eggs, sugar, lemon juice thoroughly [Cuisinart?], pour filling into crust and bake 20 minutes. [only bake cake] [?] Topping 2 c sour cream 1 tsp vanilla 4 tblsp sugar Remove cake from oven, raise temp to 475 degrees, top cake with mixture and sprinkle crumbs Bake 10 minutes Refrigerate 8 hours - - - - - - - -
